What your soybeans are worth, picked up at your farm

Questions we get asked

How many bushels of soybeans are in a tonne?

36.7437 bushels per tonne.

What are soybeans worth per bushel in Alberta today?

That depends on your town, because the trucking is most of the difference between two farms, and a price with no town attached isn’t one you can act on. Name your town on this page and it shows what you would net at your own gate.

Does the price include the trucking and the broker fee?

Yes. The figure shown is net to you at the farm gate: the buyer's delivered bid at their facility, minus the trucking from your town to that facility, minus our fee. What lands in your pocket is that number less dockage, less the provincial levy, and less any discount if the load misses the buyer's spec. All three are set out on our fine print page.
