Questions we get asked
- Is this price really picked up at my farm?
- Yes. Trucking from Sherwood Park to the buyer and our fee are already included in the price you see. What lands in your pocket is that price, less dockage, the provincial levy, and any quality discounts that apply.
- What flax does this price apply to?
- Golden Flax. If you’re unsure where your flax fits, call the grain desk before you haul and we’ll help you work it out.
- Why is the best bid from Oct 1, 2026 and not today?
- Because that’s when the buyer gave it to us. We show the real bid date rather than make an older bid look new. It’s past our freshness window, so treat it as a rougher number. Before you haul, we confirm the price with the buyer so you know where you stand.
- How many bushels of flax are in a tonne?
- 39.3683 bushels per tonne.
